It opens promising with "Phased", but from there things goes downhill until "Freeze" which is a good song too, unfortunately this is not the thing with the next one, "Things he Told her", but side one ends pretty good with "Infrared"/5(66).

It marked a time when AAE grew up, when they shed the 'goth' label and really struck out on a path that no other goth band were walking down at that time. It has shoegaze elements to it. 8. All About Eve is an 80's British goth rock group with a unique, folk-rock-influenced take on the style. The creative core consists of Julianne Regan (vocals) and Andy Cousin (bass guitar), with other members changing over the years.
